You most likely cant gift cards are used for purchasing not a storage unit for funds after it has been used, they have a date that they are no longer valid from. but you could take the money transfer it from a bank account to a valid gift card but it is more hassle than it is worth.

You can't.  The only option Amazon provides is deposit to your bank account.

You could use the rest of the gift card + your bank account to purchase a new gift card with the value of the original. Poof. Unless you need it today...
