Windows 10 USB Tether

FaiL___

Hi, I have a question, I know with Windows 10 you can create WiFi Hotspots (on my laptop), but I was wondering if this could be done through USB. Basically, I'm at my Dad's for a week, and brought my desktop. I forgot I wouldn't be near the hub, so ethernet would've been an issue, and I would've brought my powerline adapters (which I didn't). But when I create a hotspot on my laptop, it uses the WiFi signal from my Dad's, so I thought I could just use that same signal but tethered through USB (or ethernet). Thanks in advance, might be completely wrong, and if so, just simply say "No dude, you're an idiot". Cheers.

There are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand binary and those that don't.
