So I've been putting together a parts list for my first build.

 

what does everybody think? suggestions on improvements are welcome.

Also I'm having a hard time sourcing a founders edition graphics card so any suggestions on where to get one would also be greatly appreciated

Don't get a FE GPU, those have aweful cooling. 

What are you using the PC for?

i plan to cool the FE with a all in one liquid cooler. i don't want any of the pre built ones cause i prefer the look of the FE

 

Im using the  PC for game development and playing in vr

But if you're going to go liquid, why does the way the cooler look matter anyways? You can buy hybrid cards from EVGA and maybe some other brands, and they will be cheaper and better than going "DIY".

Thats what I was going for, a hybrid! i was looking at the evga hybrid and didn't like the design so i want to do my own with the FE since i prefer the ecstatic of the FE

Well, I personally don't think that's a good idea, but whatever.

 

 

buy almost anything from asus msi evga or gigabyte plz

The FE sucks, and if you want a hybrid card it's less work to buy something from the likes of EVGA (it's also cheaper). Also, IMO, air cooled GPUs look better (unless it's a custom loop).

Basically, it's more expensive, will look ugly, and is just kinda dumb overall.

what 1080 ti would you go for? doesn't have to be a hybrid
