UPS for my build?

What kind of UPS should I get for my build? I had one of those voltage stabilizers with my old rig but it caught fire (!) while I was gaming, it was a 1000VA model and I only had a 430w PSU

I'm looking for something to let me save my game progress and shutdown safely, 10 or 5 minutes would be enough I think

 

750W PSU

23'' LED monitor

 

that's all, rest of the stuff (stereo speakers, router, led lamp) would be connected to my current surge protector

Well what does your system draw under gaming load? 1000VA aint much. a 1350 or 1500VA would be much better suited as their invers allow higher draw.

Somewhere around 500w at full load and the monitor 30w

1500VA or larger is what you want.
