obs not starting output?

Go to solution Solved by AlTech,

@stanmarsh19 In this first log, this is the only potentially troublesome part I found:

Quote

10:35:14.668: Required module function 'obs_module_load' in module '../../obs-plugins/64bit/chrome_elf.dll' not found, loading of module failed

10:35:14.757: Couldn't find VLC installation, VLC video source disabled
10:35:14.761: No blackmagic support

So, perhaps re-install OBS? Cos it looks like it's missing the OBS Browser Plugin.

What version of OBS are you using, what are your Specs and what OS are you using?

Oh and could you attach the log file from OBS as well?

Thanks.

I have my doubts... "looked all around". While you've got ~5 minutes between messages. Just use google to figure out where the log files should be located, so other people can try to help you propperly.

here we have an example of someone who takes stuff way too seriously.

You were having an issue. Someone requested information, which you didn't fully supply. Pointed out you weren't investing time into the problem while other people would try to invest their time. (not fair at all?!?)

I also pointed out how you could find your log files, so trying to help you out there. (I don't use OBS, I don't know how it works, I can't help you at all other then providing you information and/or tips to gather all the requested information)

EDIT: forgot to ask: why do you say I take things way to serious?

Also,I suggest that you update to Windows 10 Build 16299 since Windows 10 Build 14393 (what you're using) will no longer be supported in March.

okay

May you also recommend some good settings for good 1080p 60fps video without grain or like ya know, the video becoming 2 pixels when moving slightly ingame?

If you're using NVENC, the result will look worse than using a different encoder such as x264 or x265 (although both of those are ridiculously CPU demanding).

If you want to stick with NVENC then maybe increase the bitrate. The higher the bitrate the larger your file sizes should be and the better the quality should be. I wouldn't recommend anything beyond 50Mbit/s for NVENC or any other codec.

So I'd recommend trying out 30Mbit/s, then 40Mbit/s and then 50Mbit/s and then see which one you're happy with and use that.
