1 LED backlight bar?

I know what backlight is and what it does and the fact that LED backlighting is standard. It all depends on how it's done. Most cheaper panels have edge lighting, however this panel (https://www.viewsonic.com/vn/products/lcd/VX3276-2K-mhd.php) apparently only has 1 LED backlight bar. My question is just how is that even done and how much would that affect image quality. In this case, I'm assuming it's one bar placed across one side of the panel not something that is connected and stretches around the whole panel. If anyone could just clarify/explain, that would be great.

Lightning will not influence the image quality just the contrast/brightness

The 1 bar of LED is diffused in such a way via multiple transparant plastic layers so that it fills the whole screen light wise.

I know how it's diffused and what I was wondering is if this "1 LED backlight bar" means that it is only placed across one side of the panel or if it's just connected and rigid and goes all the way around the display.

Most likely a single bar along the bottom, the same way it's done in laptop displays.

How likely is it that it will affect image quality and contrast levels and if it does, how drastically would it affect image quality or contrast levels?
