if you installed windows again without wiping the drive first then this is normal.

what files in that folder do you still need ?

Here is a good explanation from Microsoft directly how to retrieve files from your windows.old folder that was created during the reinstall. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17125/windows-8-restore-files-old-folder-upgrade

Now, if you want to give me your hardware, I guess I won't say no to that!

I know, I was just joking and I figured you don't primarily speak English. However it's also worth noting that the recent meltdown and spectre attacks, reinstalling windows won't do too much to help you, and you could have saved yourself the hassle and simple did a "check for updates" within windows to achieve the same effect of reinstalling. It's up to Intel/AMD/ARM to fix their chips in the grand scheme of things. Web browsers have done patches, windows/linux/iOS have their own patches as well. But it's also nothing to get scared about unless you have a tendency of visiting less than legitimate pages.

You can just copy-paste stuff you need out and delete rest. Softwares you need to reinstall, but most of configuration and customization files can be retrieved from there.
