Okay while i get that, here is a photo of some of my sensors

just looking at that i can see where the issue is, your thermal throttling, officially the FX CPUs can only do 65c sustained and you are at 83c if anything you are thermal throttling

I went to a techsupport group to help me on reddit and they couldnt figure out why it was underclocking, so I decided to try this forum.

I went there with the issue of my fps dropping to 60 to 20 fps, this has been happening for a couple of months but ive been trying to live with it.

Now I decided I want to fix it and found that my cpu had been underclocking.

I have the capable specifications to run all my games I have no idea why it would underclock.

heres my pc under load (click it and it will make u download the logs underload) https://share.rtechsupport.org/logs.CSV

i used furcon and prime95 to make it go underload.

im really not comfortable downloading logs but what is your CPU doing?

if i had to make an educated guess based on your motherboard and its lack of VRM cooling you are probably thermal throttling, specifically with the VRM and the chipset

are you overclocked?

Where would I find the vram temp on hw info? mobo is 41 degrees celcius

not vram, vrm and it should be listed as an additional temp sensor, start gaming and when you see your game drop frames stop and upload a screenshot of HWmonitor showing all the temps and clock speed info

its most likely your low end motherboard with a poorly placed cpu temp sensor(probably next to the VRM) cause the sensor on your cpu is at 50c as shown by the same screen shot

i wouldnt suggest dumping money into a dead platform, i would just upgrade to ryzen or something newer and as a temp fix take the side panel off your PC and get a desk fan to blow air onto your motherboard, when my chipset was overheating on my MSI 970 Krait edition motherboard i did that and it fixed all throttling

Your CPU is a bit hot, I use a mac, and it has never gotten that hot.

Carefully take off whatever cooler you have on the CPU at the moment and replace the thermal paste with new paste. Your CPU is running way too hot right now.

He needs to make sure he dosen't burn himself. He should let the CPU cool.

You don't take off the cooler with the CPU still running and it will cool within less than a minute turned off.

if you look at his HWmonitor screenshot his package temps on the CPU is 50c max but his motherboard "cpu temp" is 83c, im willing to bet its a poorly placed sensor thats causing his throttling

idk how much help new thermal paste will be but i guess its worth a shot

I dusted off my entire pc and put in an extra case fan and my temps went down not sure if its enough too stop the

thermal throttling.

this it it idling im going to get a photo of it under load

I used to have an fx8320 oc to 4.6ghz and it idled at 34C with a hyper 212

What cooler do you have?

Also max package temp is like 72C and core temp is like 62C if i remember properly.

Not to crap on your cooler but I would describe it as more entry level.

Should be, especially with good temps.  Tbh if fx wasn't so finnicky you would be totally fine.
