You can still overclock the 1070ti using software such as MSI Afterburner. The difference between the 1070ti and the other 10 series cards is that partners aren't allowed to put a factory OC on the card.

okay, not allowed to put a factory OC cool..!!

so can a MSI afterburner oc a Gigabyte GPU or dose Gigabyte have there own software? (Zero knowledge about overclocking software so)

Gigabyte probably does have their own software but MSI afterburner is the best and yes, you can use it on any type of card.

and in this particular video, I see the symbol of OC on the box, but now whenever I search it on neweggs or amazon.com, the pictures they have of the GPU and the box I don't find the symbol there... it's just the RGB logo and windforce

Well I don't know why that is but if the OC mark is gone now they definitely don't come with factory OC

Gigabyte's got there own software called Gigabyte OC Guru. just found out... but Gigabyte OC Guru is 4 on top 5 overclockers whereas the MSI afterburner in the first place..

so you're saying a 450W with be enough? and you did change the  1070TI to 1070...

Because 1070 TI is overkill for 1080p. I changed your PSU from 80+ bronze to 80+ gold. Having a good PSU is EXTREMELY important.

You want 144 fps gaming, but going with a r5 non oc, I wouldn’t recommend that.

Depending on what you do I would pick up a coffee Lake cpu if you’re more into high fps gaming. Since it has a higher ipc and much higher frequency, which games love to take advantage of

But if you’re going to stream/record then I would drop down to a 60hz monitor at possibly a higher resolution and stay with Ryzen.

I prefer to double my wattage when buying a psu, allows for headroom just Incase anything happens.

If youre having budgeting issues and you’re just gaming I would go with 8gb of ram instead of 16, especially how the pricing is atm.

These people are suggesting the cheapest mobo, you can do that.. but you have to know there will be features missing. I would find out what you need and go from there

The main reason I happened to pick a 24" Samsungs CFG70 is that of its high refresh rate and the 1ms response rate. I sure could have picked a 60hz monitor with better resolution but then spending a price of 30,000 rupees (473$ appx) I still would only get a 1080p monitor in my country at least. so I was like even if I'm to spend 160$ more then the price I put aside on the monitor and still get the amount of resolution which is no point.  so I was just looking for the refresh rate of the monitors that's in my price bracket yet with higher refresh rates. so that's when I found 24" CFG70 for 315$, and it's a Quantum dot technology sRGB which is a better than a conventional sRGB display..  so I guess for my price bracket 1920x1080p is the best resolution with best 144Hz R.R ad best response time getting and that I can afford for now. the same monitors costing you 280$ in the U.S now.. INDIA SUCKS ON TAXES

yeah like a 2x4GB.. thinking of it too...

and I would like to ask you something since your from the U.S.  like i'm planning to buy 1070 TI from neweggs.com and ask my friend to carry along with her. and I wanted to know if it would be easy to ask my friend to carry the GPU along with her in her baggage while heading back. will it be removed in the airport baggage checking??  now that they say they are new rules and stuff.

they might question it and take a look at it. Obviously I can’t tell you it’s fine to smuggle it in no strings attached, there is a tax if it is intended to be sold to someone else. But it should be able to be brought on a plane.

Are they chances of it being confiscated?

There’s nothing against electronic components being brought into the plane but if they suspect anything or feel suspicious 99% of the time it won’t be allowed. I haven’t brought a computer component on a plane so I would definitely ask the company giving the flight
