So.. When I first bought this mouse in 2014 it was around... 50-60 dollars. WHY IS IT 140 NOW?! I've noticed its been climbing over the last year or two, with it being 80 bucks last time i checked. BUT I JUST CHECKED NOW AND ITS 129?! WHY CAN ANY ONE EXPLAIN

Well, at launch it was $100, so $50-$60 was a great deal. But lookup literally any old hardware that has been replaced -- there will more than likely be a ridiculous markup if you can find someone selling it (unless it was so mass produced/no one ever bought them and everyone has tons of them in stock).

The G700s is out of production, and has been replaced by the G703 and G903. No first-party sellers are stocking them since they aren't getting them.

The 703 and 903 both have far better sensors and far less latency.

Latency wasnt really a problem tho. For me, its the button layout ;w; i pretty much use them all for MMO's..

You could go to a G602. They're cheap as anything and they have a similar button layout (one less button to the left of the left click, no macro under the scroll wheel shift and two more buttons on the side.
