2TB Drive Recommendations?

Go to solution Solved by ARikozuM,

At 2TB, you're good with almost any model from WD, HGST, Seagate, or Toshiba. The BarraCuda is a great drive especially if this is the 2017 model.

What is the recommended 2TB drive around here? I found this one, but is it good for general desktop file storage? https://pcpartpicker.com/product/CbL7YJ/seagate-barracuda-2tb-35-7200rpm-internal-hard-drive-st2000dm006

From what I have heard and can tell, that is a good drive. I will be using that for my new build soon.

That would be it. Basically all HDDs are good these days, so any 7200rpm 2tb drive would be equally fine.
