Hello! So I have a prebuilt that I bought from a guy used. It has a gtx 960 and a 6700k. It has a 500 watt random PSU.

Anyways, I bought a gtx 1080 and a 750w psu so that I can have the 960 mining and the 1080 for gaming. I've never built a PC before, but I know it isn't super complicated. Can anyone link me a video or give me instructions on what to do? Do I need to download new drivers or delete the 960 ones before I can play with the 1080? I need to do all the cables to the new modular psu I got as well. Thanks!

Case: InWin 303 Motherboard: Asus TUF X570-Plus Processor: Ryzen R9-3900x GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3070 Ram: 32 GB DDR4 3000 MHZ

PSU: Corsair CX750M Storage: 1TB Intel 660p NVME SSD and a 2TB Seagate 7200RPM HDD Mouse: Logitech G600 Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2014 HeadphonesSteelseries Arctis 7 Audio: Shure PGA58 with a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen

get all the cables from the old PSU out. Put the1080 in the matching slot, connect the new PSU, start up PC and to be safe just uninstall the existing drivers and reinstall them using the Nvidia app (that way you'll get the latest stable drivers)

For instructions on how to do this stuf search in youtube for "PC build guide" and "nvidia driver installation"

ALSO! I have an AIO in my build. Will I have to remove it for the installment? If I do, is the thermal paste fine? I don't have any.

you won't need to remove the AIO unless it is in the way for the installation. You won't have to remove it from the CPU as i don't see a reason as to why you wouldn't be able to install a PSU when you have a cooler attached to the CPU.

If you ever remove it for some reason I would clean off the thermal paste and apply new paste. I don't know if it is really necessary but I always do it.

You won't have to remove it from the CPU when you are just installing a PSU and a GPU.
What I meant was, when the radiator is in the way for the installation, you may have to temporarily detach it form the case, but you can leave it on the CPU.

However when you have to remove the AIO from the CPU to check it out ore something you will need to clean of the old paste and apply new paste. With what you are doing now, you wont have to do it.
