Hey guys, I recently upgraded my RAM to some dominator platinum, when ever I enable XMP the overclock fails, I've never tried to OC RAM before so I don't really what I'm doing.

system,

CPU, r7 1700, running at 3.6GHz(it was 3.75 but I dropped it a little when it was failing to see if that fixed the issue)

RAM, 4x4GB dominator platinum

MOBO, AORUS AX370-Gaming 5

GPU, VEGA 64

PSU, EVGA 850 GQ

Crucial 128GB SSD

Seagate 1TB HDD

I don't know much about Ryzen and OC'ing it but on intel platforms I normally have to boost the DRAM voltage a little to get it stable while on XMP profiles.  my 1.5v DDR3 ram in my current gaming rig I run at 1.6v.  That allows me to run XMP profile and boost DRAM speed to 2133mhz and maintain stability on my Team Vulcan-1600 RAM.
