RAM + MOBO help

Hello, I need help choosing a motherboard and ram for i5-8600k. The mobo I'm looking at right now is ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING but I just don't know if it's worth the 50+ euro price premium over other z370 boards and should I go 2x4gb 3000mhz or 1x8gb 3000mhz ram, oh yeah I'm looking at that mobo because I don't know if the cheaper boards could handle the i5 at 4.7-4.8ghz oc.

For ram you should go dual channel, so use the 2x4 sticks. But if you want to upgrade later you can use the 1x8gb stick and add an additional stick of 8gb later on. Usually ASUS is more expensive than other brands (my opinion) so better wait for someone else to comment on the mobo. Hope I could help anyways
