Hi! Guys!

Can't pick the perfect GPU for this Monitor 23MP68VQ-P which is freesync capable

anyone help me?

which gpu i should buy?

coz rx480 8gb is phased out (target gpu) (less power draw) (coz someone told me is there a tweak to the rx 480 and it perform like a 580 8gb.)

so the available in store is rx 570 8gb

something bothering me to the amd cards lol esp to this series 470/480/570/580

is there a diff.?

thanks!

RX 580 is RX 480 with higher clock  speed, more performance (yes 580 is noticeably faster) and higher power draw, so forget 480 and get 580. You can reduce the power limit of the 580 if you want to save power at the cost of reduced performance.

Dont flash the 580 VBIOS to the 480 (which is the tweak you mention). All that does is overclock the chip which can be done even if you dont do it. It will raise power draw as well.

First of all. 570 is a decent choice. Second, do not ever flash 580 bios on the 480. This has killed my rx480 strix before. Personally, I prefer Nvidia, but if you already have a freesync monitor I'd get a 570/580 from Sapphire or Asus.

i dont have yet freesync monitor but planning to buy after the card.,, atm im using 720p no freesync no gsync,

That's called overclocking. The differences between an RX 480 and RX 580 is the improved process allowed higher clock speed, but the design and efficiency of the chip itself hasnt changed. Their power draw is the same if both run at the same clock speed. The difference is that RX 580 runs at a higher clock which makes it use more power and gives more performance than the RX 480.

All those tweak does is increase the clock speed of the RX 480, which isnt necessary since you can overclock yourself anyway.

Unless you got confused with crypto currency mining. Those use special BIOS to increase mining efficiency, but they do not make games run any faster. Also these modded BIOS are available on both RX 480 and RX 580, but flashing them will risk losing your warranty.

No. Only AMD cards can use freesync, and only Nvidia can use Gsync.

Yes, though here the RX 570 is just $10 cheaper than the 580 which makes it a dumb deal.

Cards from all brands that call RX 580 has the same power draw and performance (difference you see are factory overclocks, which means nothing since you can overclock yourself). Cooling is another thing to care about, but it's only a choice of 2 fans and 3 fans. 2 fans are enough, but 3 fans look cool. There's also looks to consider, color scheme and design for example

Rx 580 dont overclock very well, so I wouldnt care about the clock speed, but just the cooling.

yeah Vega 56 is promising for competing with the GTX 1070 and pairing it with LG 34UC89 1080p ultrawide monitor (144hz) will be a great value

2 fan design right? HIS is good at that cooling but maybe is on par with the GTS cooler in XFX RX 580. I would get that too
