I have never used RAID before, so I may be doing this wrong, but all I know is that it doesn't work.

I have 2 HDDs I want to hardware raid, and so I went into my bios and set the storage configuration to "raid" but all that did is stop the computer from booting into windows. I don't know if I'm missing a step or something, and the If it matters, I have an asrock z370 fatality k6.

Which board do you have? Asus has a little setup assist in the bios, with that you can set up a raid. You cant just set your Storage configuration to raid, that's not enough.
