Low end soundcard?

Im going to be buying the sennheiser game zero headset (because it is on sale for 120 euro) and i was thinking would an asus xonar dgx make the "experience" better?

It depends on where you're coming from. But chances are it won't by a hugely appreciable amount.

Well im using the sound from my motherboard which is the asus m5a97 r2.0

Get the headphones and see if you really think you want something better than the on board audio. But chances are it's probably not going to make much of a difference.

That is propably what ill do. If im not happy then ill look into getting a soundcard
