HyperX Cloud 2 Microphone Not Working

Hello everyone. I am running Windows 10 and at the moment I am having problems with my Hyperx Cloud 2 insertable microphone. When I have it plugged in, it is recognized by my recording devices but it appears that no sound is being recorded by it. I have made sure that it is not muted and that the microphone levels are at 100. I have also tried reinstalling the drivers for it. This has just started happening recently within the past week or two. if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
