PC sometimes stays is POST?

Hey guys,

 

so this occured for the 2nd time today. I boot my pc and it stays in POST and i have to enter the BIOS to then leave it and boot normally.

 

I think the first time was when i had the pc in sleep mode. It booted perfectly fine from sleep mode, but the next real boot would end in the POST.

 

Any ideas? 

 

Besides that, there is a weird cracking sound every few minutes coming out of my case. Is it due to thermal changes?

Try reinstalling the BIOS.
