Hello guys.

So recently I took out my PSU and GPU (long story) put it back in, and now after 2 days, I have this weird issue. I started overwatch and after a couple mins I started hearing something from my PC. I didn't fuckin know what it is, sounded like it's going to blow up. Realised it's probably the GPU's max speed. And I was right. As soon as I left the game it stopped. Then went into Gigabyte engine and tried fans at max speed and yea that was it. I put it back to normal, then after couple seconds (wasn't even playing) the fan started that weird noise again. It really got me scared because the GPU is not overcloked, and not overheated (its between 60 and 65 celsius which I think shouldn't be an issue).

I HAVE NEVER EVER HEARD this noise, and I had my GPU for almost 2months now.

What do you think it is guys? Should I be worried? Because I kinda am...don't really want to blow my GPU up, I had to save a lot of money to finally buy it.

FANS RPM is around 2100 without any weird sound, is that okay?

Are your GPU drivers up to date ?

I had it with my 1070 once and just one fan of the three ramped up to full speed it scared the shit out of me too, restarted the pc but issue was still there untill i updated my GPU driver and restarted.

After that i googled and found many people with the same problem.

if the driver update doesen't help try reinstalling the Driver.

What did you do to the GPU? Did you take off the heatsink?

Transported it to a friend to try if it's faulty or not. (had a post where I described having low fps in games where i shouldn't). Numbers were fine, but some games showed a little lower fps but not much of a difference. (he has the exact same gpu)

It's really weird, now I put it on max speed, but it has the same sound. Is that even normal?

EDIT: I just noticed that it's not even spinning. Even though I set them on turbo.
