Hello,

I have an Corsair M65, wich i have owned for a couple of years.

But lately it has been behaving weird.

When i am playing a game of CSGO or PUBG the mouse sometimes keeps on going.

For example, when i aim left and stop my hand movement, the mouse keeps aiming further left (it does this for al directions)

I tried reinstalling the drivers and uploading the firmware to the mouse.

I dont know if it is an hardware failure or a software issue.

Any suggestions?

Make sure the game is in fullscreen, if you have another mouse see if you can replicate the issue with that mouse then you can rule the mouse as being the problem. Also does it do any of this weird behavior when you're not playing an FPS game or when you're using the cursor outside of gaming?

The game is in fullscreen, i haven't tried a different mouse, the only other mouse i have is a cheap wireless mouse i use for my school laptop, but i will try it tonight.

It does happen when not playing a game, but not as often since there are less movements

If you have access to another computer maybe a laptop or something then that is also worth trying. If you can re-create the problem on that then its probably a hardware fault with the mouse
