Hey guys new to overclocking cpus only ever done gpus been watching some videos shall I wait till I get a h100i v2? Worried about temps

Maybe a light overclock for now, and then bump it up to a nice, hefty one when your cooler arrives.

If temps are too high it will thermal shutdown, then tone down the oc, no harm done. My 1700 thermal shutdowns under 100% load with the wraith spire and its fine
