Are there any 240 gb SSD's for under 100 CAD

Looking to upgrade my HTPC and I cannot go a dollar over budget

I'm fine with anything as long as it dosen't break in 1-2 yrs

Also If I never shut down my HTPC.Does installing windows on it have a benefit

Windows is great, if you can't afford Windows Linux is always a good option.

 

I wouldn't expect there to be any as of right now unless you bought used, even a 120Gb SSD is in the region of 75 USD

Sorry but the cheapest thing I can find is a WD Blue 250GB on newegg for $105. The dollar is really shit right now.

That wasn't the question

I have a HDD in my HTPC right now

Since i never shut down my HTPC if I install Windows on the SSD on it.Will it have any effect?
