Displaying multiple entry as one in database??? PHP, MySQL

Hello fellow programmers from Linustechtips!

 

Long time no post... 

 

Straight to the point, is there any way I can display multiple entry as one. i know it's kinda hard to understand, thats why I cant find any answer on google lol.. But what I want is, for example, In my database, I want to display all user's name, but I have like, [john, ashley, david, derp, derp, john], I just want to display it as [ john, ashley, david, derp ].
