Linux boot error issues.

I built a computer recently and dont want to use windows os, ive tried to use Ubuntu and Linux Mint both trying to install from a 32gb 2.0 flash drive, there is no other operating system on the computer and with each OS I get the same error, "Not enough memory to load specified image. boot:" having no expeirence with any type of Linux OS im not exactly sure if this is an OS issue, ive built computers in the past but have only ever used windows and never gotten this error, the parts in the pc are as follows

 

Ryzen 3 1300x

MSI x370 gaming plus motherboard

8g Kingston hyper fury x black ddr4

nvidia gtx 760

evga 500w b psu

toshiba 500gb ssd

 

any advise would be very appreciated as the computer is going to be a gift so im slowly running out of time to get this resolved. thank you.

Try changing the value of boot parameter memory before boot , your bios might not be giving the correct values

Can you boot the live CD of the OS, or does it go straight to this screen?

 

If you can boot it, there shouldn't be any difficulties installing it through the visual installer. If you can't, check if your BIOS is configured to boot from the flash drive.

@Hgs2000 I get this screen for both mint and ubuntu version when i try that, ive tried ubuntu 16.4 and 17.1, starting it gives me the error, and with ubuntu starting or trying to install gives me the same error. 

@Jiaweeeee I cant find a reference to my boot parameters in my bios, advanced or otherwise.

Press Ctrl-Alt-F2 to launch the terminal and run 

free
dmesg | grep Memory

I don't have access to the terminal it wont bring me to a desktop, I get that error immediately after trying to start Mint, and Ctrl+Alt+F2 doesn't do anything at that page pictured.

Update, if I format the flash drive as NTFS instead of a FAT32 I get a different error saying what looks to be similar issues though.

How did you create your USB disk?

Looks like it is trying to extract the image directly on the disk
