TechDeals says that I can comfortably OC a R5 1600 to 3.6-.7 on all cores on several Ryzen videos. Can anyone vouch for him? Should I just get an aftermarket cooler anyways?

Well yeah the stock cooler could oc to 3.6-7 but i would get an aftermarket cooler like the hyper 212 evo. Its alot better for the temperature and gives you a lot more headroom.

id OC with the stock cooler and get aftermarket if you want to go further and get the noise down later

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
