Posted December 7, 2017 For a while I've been debating on what 4K monitor to get. I have two 1080TIs on water and wanna push it to the max at 4K. For a while I was deciding on the Asus PG27AQ but looking online recently they've become harder to come by unless I buy one at a ridiculous price or get a used one off Ebay before taking into consideration of the Acer XB271HK which is at a reasonable price. Posted December 7, 2017 XB271HK I have the 1440p IPS Gsync 165hz version and I love it. Although I will tell you I have a 60hz 4k TN monitor as well, and I am glad I didn't spend more money on gsync or ips because honestly until they get affordable 4k 144hz panels I think your wasting your money. Just get a nice 60hz IPS 4k for $300-$400 and save your money for another year or two. I would rather agree on what we share, than fight on what we don't. - Myself FULL PC SPECS ON PROFILE https://linustechtips.com/main/profile/454099-thinkfreely/ Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/870430-4k-monitors/#findComment-10796279 Share on other sites
 Posted December 7, 2017 Author On Overclockers the XB271HK is only £500 which is surprisingly cheap for a 4K monitor though I'm not too bothered by price or HZs given I can always upgrade in the future.
