If I attempted to turn my external HDD into an internal one, how would I do it?

Not sure about that hard drive in particular, but many HDD's are now made with the USB header built into the PCB of the Hard drive, so many can't be converted. You'll have to take it apart to find out.

The model doesn't look exactly the same, so the process may be different and there's a possibility it doesn't use a standard SATA connection.
