RAM overclocking worth it?

I have Corsair LPX 3000mhz CL15 RAM, would it be worth overclocking it? and how much can I overclock without needing dedicated RAM cooling fans?

 

I currently already have the 3000mhz XMP profile running, is it worth it to push it further?

it's worth it to at least get it running at the speed intended. Which cpu and motherboard is this going on?

oh gotcha, you can test some other higher settings but I've found especially on Ryzen, the ram will run best at it's intended speed.

Depends on how much time you want to throw at it, but in general I'd say it wasn't really worth it. At the minimum you might relax the primary timings, keep the same settings for others, maybe tweak some voltage levels, you might get it a bit higher clock. Then you spend ages verifying it. Unless you have an application that is ram sensitive, probably not worth it. Then you can adjust all the timings. I've not even finished one set. It takes forever, but even with where I am the performance is measurably higher.

not worth, it wont really have an impact unless you're running a APU even if you use PS and stuff not worth imo
