I am making this thread, cause i have maxed out the sliders on MSI Afterburner, and im passing all stress tests, but i want a little bit more frames to run CSGO on low-med settings. What should i use to push it a little bit more ?

This PC:

CPU: Intel Core2 Duo E4500 2.20Ghz @ 3.41Ghz

RAM: 2Gb Kingston HyperX DDR2

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP31-DS3L Rev 1.0

PSU: Some 500w unit i had lying around - going to get upgraded to a XFX TS550, cause changing the PSU in my main rig to a more powerful one.

Case: DIY Testbench

HDD: Doesnt really matter but some 160Gb SeaGate HDD.

Perhaps try EVGA Precision, though you might have hit your graphics cards actual limit (unless they don't have one?).

Well, the sliders in MSI Afterburner and AMD Settings are maxed out ( They both have the same values, so i think they are the same thing )

It probably can't go any higher then without a BIOS mod (not something that should be done without a dual BIOS card or an iGPU as a spare)

Well, the E4500 has an iGPU, but the motherboard doesnt have a port for outputs. By the way, this is just a test bench, later on, the GPU is going to be used with a A8-6600K in Dual Graphics mode. That doesnt change the fact i want to get the most power out of it tho.

Did checking it give you more slider?

Yeah, wasnt really worth it to be honest. Trying to oc it higher just makes the system unstable and just grayscreens when theres a load on GPU. a 900Mhz clock on core and 1ghz on vram worked tho, so i might just leave that as it is.
