Windows font

Today, I installed the Roboto Light font for an image I was making. Unfortunately, windows has changed some of my fonts on applications such as steam, whatsapp etc to this font. Whenever I try to delete it, this is what happens:

 

I read online that you can restore the default font settings which I did but didn't do anything, even after a restart. 

 

 

Anyone got a fix?

Comparing these two, they appear to be different fonts. The first being roboto, and the other being the windows default. They're both taken from steam.

To fix this, I went into the registry editor (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts) and deleted the font that was annoying me (this case roboto light)
