Hi, is there a big difference between these?

The difference in timings... is that very noticeable in 3d rendering applications?

CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 64GB (4 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200

  • DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600)
  • Timing 16-18-18-36
  • CAS Latency 16
  • Voltage 1.35V

AND

G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 64GB (4 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200

  • DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600)
  • Timing 14-14-14-34
  • CAS Latency 14
  • Voltage 1.35V

Yes, the difference is there.

The G.Skill is a Samsung B-die because CL14 at 3200MHz which is way better for OC.

Thanks for the reply. I don't plan to OC the memory though. Is there still a big difference at stock?

Yes, but more on Ryzen than on Intel and not in all applications or games.

What's the price difference?

Edit:

Holy cow... nvm... I can't justify any RAM for any of the listed prices.

I feel your pain.  I ended up going off-brand and under-speed for my current build until prices drop.  I went with the Team T-Force Vulcan 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 2400 because it was on sale for $129 for Black Friday.  The regular prices of 16gb of DDR4 right now made me want to gouge out my eyeballs just looking at them.  Since Black Friday it has gone back up to $179!!

Luckily, it runs perfectly with XMP on on my Ryzen 5 1600 and ASRock board, I was afraid it might not even work.
