h115i profile

so i just got myself a h115i and i was wondering  when i set my profile on it with corsair link do i need to keep that usb cable attached to keep the profile on it or can i unplug and it will keep that profile on there and then i replug it in when i want to change the profile.

Yeah. That's what I did while I was waiting for my Commander Pro to show up. Only had 1 USB header so I just set an aggressive curve for a couple of days. Just reboot a few times and make sure it sticks.

 

Edit: Or just control the fans from the mobo headers.

ya thanks good to know cuz the default pump speed was at half speed LUL

Pump speed may be because you don't have the fan header set to 100%. But hang on I think I might have had to do something specific to get the curve to stick. Let me see if I have something bookmarked about it.

Oh it's not complicated actually, I just made a note to myself that you have to have the group set to H115i temp in Link or it won't stick for obvious reasons.

i have an asus z370 board and it has a aio pump header and always keeps the pump speed at 100% so
