Headphones for granny

Hey guys. I'm currently trying to find some decent but affordable wireless headphones for my grandmother to watch TV with. Or a suggestion to make switching between headphones and the TV speakers super easy and simple. She can move and walk around but she is not able enough to plug and unplug from the back of the TV and she does not understand basic electronics. She just wants to be able to watch TV with headphones because she lives in an apartment. Any help would be awesome

Just buy any wireless over the ear headphone from your local store.

Well, there is a bit of a problem here, as your grandmother will probably need to plug them in once in a while to charge the headphones.

There are wireless stations, on which you can simply drop the headphones on, but those are also more expensive.

 

The first headphones that came to my mind are the Sennheiser RS 160s priced at around 160,- €.

I think Philips and Sony also have quite a few cheaper options.

Which usually connect over bluetooth. I don't think her TV has bluetooth...

Totally forgot about it i think he needs the one with usb dongle.

TVs usually don't send sound over USB xD

 

There are certain TV headphones that have a base that connects via a 3.5mm jack to the TV.
Those are the ones that he should look for and they're not necessarily easy to find in any old random store. :P

But my friend has one or was it a monitor+tv combo i am not sure he plug the thing through 3.5mm jack and then transmit the sounds to the wireless headphone.
