Corsair seems to have the upper hand here.

Cable management looks easier and cleaner in the Corsair 270ZR

The corsair fits bigger aircoolers, but since you'll be running on water it doesn't really matter.

What does matter is that it comes with 2 fans, depending on where you put your radiator you could re-position them to get optimal airflow.

If you go for the gamery look, the fans also have RED led's.

Bigger window.

And one last important note is the drive support, corsair offers 4 drive bays.

2x 2.5", 2x 3.5".

Coolermaster has 2x combo SSD mounts (3.5" & 2.5") and 1x 2.5" mount.

Depending on pricing, I'd go with the corsair.

Seems like the better overall pick if you also like the gamery aesthetic and good features for the price.

When the PC is acting up haunted,

who ya gonna call?
"Monotone voice" : A local computer store.

*Terrible joke I know*

This list is kind of confusing.  If you're going for a gaming build, why opt for Intel's CPU with more cores and lower clock speeds?

16gb ram (over 8) won't help gaming performance 99% of the time.

you're better off with a premium air cooler over a budget liquid cooler.  and why do you need liquid cooling for a cpu that doesn't even overclock anyway?

PC Build: R5-1600.  Scythe Mugen 5.  GTX 1060.  120 GB SSD.  1 TB HDD.  FDD Mini C.  8 GB RAM (3000 MHz).  Be Quiet Pure Wings 2.  Capstone-550.  Deepcool 350 RGB.

Peripherals: Qisan Magicforce (80%) w/ Gateron Blues.  Razer Naga Chroma.  Lenovo 24" 1440p IPS.  PS4 Controller.

Audio: Focusrite (Solo, 2nd), SM57, Triton Fethead, AKG c214, Sennheiser HD598's, ATH-M50x, AKG K240, Novation Launchkey

Wishlist: MP S-87, iPad, Yamaha HS5's, more storage

I had been reading that the 8400 was performing just as well as the 7gen i5 processors.
