CPU for 2-Rigs-1-Tower

I need some advice to know if my PC can run 2 virtual machines for gaming purposes. Basically the same thing Linus built in this video.

A few games I want to play simultaneously or make 2 instances of:

• Resident Evil 7
• Monster Hunter World (unreleased)
• Dark Souls 1/2/3
• Assetto Corsa

My specs are:

• Intel 4930K (with a ~5-10% OC potential lol)
• Gigabyte GA-X79S-UP5-WIFi
• 24GB DDR3 RAM
• [512GB SSD + 1TB SSHD] + 2TB NAS
• GTX 780 Ti
• Seasonic 650W PSU (individually sleeved !)
• Custom water cooling

Can my CPU manage to handle 2 VM's running A³ games? I'm aware I'll need to get another GPU or two new ones. Also, is there a better way to build what Linus built since the video is 2years old now?

You'll need another GPU and I believe Linus included an UnRaid card as well.

 

There's obviously a better way to build what he did, have you seen the 10 Gamers, 1 CPU rig?

1800x? threadripper? depends on your budget

This one right ? I did but it's more of a show-off video than an instructional or informative video.

I can agree on that. However, I was wondering if my 4930K can handle it . I don't have the budget for a new PC

I can pour about max. $500CAD in hardware to make this happen with my current gear.

Igpu won't work 

So you don't think the 4930K would cut it ?
