What should i upgrade?

Looking to upgrade a pc. Budget is 300$. 

Specs:

gpu: gtx 760 sc

cpu: i7 860 (it's garbage)

8gb ddr3 ram

 

Nothing but 1080p gaming.

Not sure how week that cpu is but try getting a 1050ti or 1060

Thanks. And the cpu is garbage. It is about 8 or so years old and has 2.8 ghz

Maybe try finding a old Xeon? I have the same motherboard (lga 1156) and something like a x3470 will run you $50, and assuming you get a 1060 6gb, should be right around $300.

If this is a prebuilt, make sure your PSU has the extra cables.

its ancient, of course it isn't gonna perform very well now. it performed quite decently for its time. get a 1600+b350+8gb ram, abit over budget but you can sell the old hardware to offset cost.

the x3470 just runs abit faster, no point getting it as you can oc the i7 anyways.
