Overclocked? By that I mean have you OC'd your CPU or GPU?

I'm pretty sure it's the RAM

3000mhz on ryzen 1500x?

Is it compatible with the motherboard and CPU in general? There's a recommended list of RAM sticks that work best with these CPUs..

I assume you didn't update the motherboard bios? If you didn't, do it.

It wouldn't surprise me if it's to ram, I have had three other issues all having to do with the ram and I have not updated the bios

Only experiencing it with this game? Then it might be an issue with your game.

Does the game have any error logs? Could you look at your operating system's logs?

I've also had issues with Chrome

I've looked up the compatibility for this part (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15), which is your RAM. It probably won't run at 3000mhz without making errors.. Pretty bad cas latency, not listed as supported part in their spreadsheet..

I advise you to update the bios to the latest version and run your RAM at 2933 mhz speed. You might want to bump up the voltage on RAM a bit, but leave the timings as they are, since they're pretty loose already.

Guides on youtube..

type in sth like "AMD ryzen bios update", "AMD RAM speed adjustment/change"

I have an intel build and I'm really not an AMD guy, so I don't have much trustworthy knowledge on what exactly you need to do.

But downloading the latest bios from your motherboard manufacturer's site, exporting it to a folder on desktop and then running bios update utility from bios should be the right way.

Look for guides. It's not hard at all.
