I refuse to recommend cheap PSUs, because they're the main cause of PC failure and death. People cheap out on them and shit happens.

This PSU is 250W rated.

And the most sketchy PSU I've seen in my life. But nevertheless.

gtx 1050 pulls around 75W and i5 2300 is like a 100W in worst case scenario.. (95W TDP)

You're stretching it, but you should be fine. Assuming you don't have many system peripherals.

That psu only has 192W available over the 12V rail; it seems to be designed for older machines that needed a lot more power from the 3.3V rail.

Your cpu and gpu combined are (up to) 170W, and this doesn't take into account components like hard disks, SSD's, IC's, or other add-in cards.

I really do not recommend you use this PSU.

I can pick up a R7 260X + a CX450W (gray label) instead, but R7 260X is slower than a GTX 1050, so what do you think?

How immediate is your need to upgrade? Getting the r7-260X really isn't worth it. Would it take long for you to be able to buy the CX450 and the 1050? Or do you need to build this pc like, now?

I found a nice deal on Newegg - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438130. Even before factoring in the rebate card, which is a bit of a hassle, it's only $23.98 for this EVGA 450w unit that'll fit your components nicely. If you use the rebate card later, it ends up being closer to $14.

I've bought a R7 360 with a CX450, thanks for the help <3. And yeah, I needed to buy the PC now, I've chose the R7 360 because its price in Brazil is very low right now.

The r7-360 is a slower GPU than the 260X mate, it's a rebadged 260 with directx 12 support.

It's fine, becausen the R7 360 is new and the r7 260x would be 3 year+ used. Furthermore, seems to be just 6%: http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-R7-260X-vs-AMD-R7-360/3151vs3572
