Notepad plus plus beginner.

I'm a complete beginner to coding! I've only ever done a couple different things in notepad with batch files. I was curious if you guys know of any tutorials I could follow so I could learn a little bit more about coding? I'm having trouble finding actual tutorials on how to use the program, that are aimed at teaching me how to use the program.

Not sure, but Notepad++ can be used for many different languages. And I still use regular old notepad all the time.

 

Think of a project. Think of a language best used for said project. And then start looking for example code.

Personally I think codecademy is a pretty useful website to teach you some simple stuff about coding and web development if that's the sort of stuff you want to look at.

I am unaware of more fully fledged out programming tutorials and never really looked since I am at uni studying software engineering.  

I would suggest you use a different tool rather than Notepad++ for another simple code text editor id go with Visual studio code it is free and in my opinion hell of a lot better than notepad++
