Hello,

I am quite new to building so I have a few questions about my new build that I will be creating.

Here are my Specs so far:
CPU: AMD Threadripper 1950x
GPU: One Asus rog Strix 1080 Ti
Memory: Samsung 960 NVme Evo 1 tb
Ram: G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 32GB ( 4 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600
Monitor: Two 144 mhz 24 inch monitors 1ms
Fans: 4 Noctua 140 mm

My question is, would this PSU be okay for my system if I were to overclock?
CORSAIR TX-M Series TX750M (CP-9020131-NA) 750W ATX12V v2.4 / EPS 2.92 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Semi-Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Also if you guys could suggest air cooling systems and full tower cases that would be nice.
Thanks!

Before you click that order button, could you elaborate on what you'll be using the PC for?

Having the best of the best might be fun, but if a build doesn't quite offer the best value for what you want to do, spending less

can sometimes be better. For instance, if your primary focus is gaming, the 1950X is about as poor of a choice as possible, especially

with just a 1080p monitor. With a 4K display, it makes next to no difference, though.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

Agree with above post... you seem to have just picked the most overkiill possible components without any reguard to what they are used for...

32GB of RAM, a 16 core CPU, and an nvme drive all indicate your doing professional workloads, but the fact you have 144hz 1ms monitors indicates your playing games..

You've designed a system that will excell at content creation and deep learning etc, but will perform worse than a $1.5k systek with 8gb/ram, a standard SSD and an i5 in games. DO some research.

Main Rig

CPU: Ryzen 2700X
Cooler: Corsair H150i PRO RGB 360mm Liquid Cooler
Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair VII Hero
RAM: 16GB (2x8) Trident Z RGB 3200MHZ
SSD: Samsung 960 EVO NVME SSD 1TB, Intel 1TB NVME

Graphics Card: Asus ROG Strix GTX 1080Ti OC

Case: Phanteks Evolv X
Power Supply: Corsair HX1000i Platinum-Rated

Radiator Fans: 3x Corsair ML120
Case Fans: 4x be quiet! Silent Wings 3

I plan to do graphics design, video editing, music production, as well as playing games on the side.

I chose the these components because I do not plan on buying anymore in the future, so might as well get the best I can so it can last me many years without having to worry about an upgrade.

Im still new to this so could you guys suggest me a better monitor for my setup?
