GPU Advice

Still building a new system for my wife and I....Should I get a gpu now or wait for prices to fall....waiting is not a big deal atm as i'm still waiting for my 8th gen I5 to come in...I was thinking about ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 3GB Dual-Fan OC Edition Graphics Card (DUAL-GTX1060-O3G)...as it is approx. 280 bucks Canadian....the 1080 is a bit pricey for me...if you have an alternative card you'd recommend please let me know....I'm very open to suggestions

We are both gamers. ..we are looking to build a system that will run a game like star citizen ...we already purchased our tuf asus z370 plus gaming mobo. .and put our down payment on our unlocked i5 8th Gen. ..

Maybe the Asus AMD Radeon RX580 8GB Dual or the OC. They are in the same price range of the 1060 3GB...
