Hello there... I plan on buying a new rig early 2018 (like Q1) and I still have some questions and generally would appreciate feedback and tips :)

First things first:

1. Budget & Location

~2500€ / germany

2. Aim

The aim is gaming. HOTS and RPG's like Witcher3/Cyberpunk2077/ME/DragonAge and some shooters, no multiplayer FPS though. If there will be a good MMORPG I might try that too once in a while.

3. Monitors

I currently run two monitors, one at 1080p and one at 1680x1050. I plan on getting a new one (thinking ASUS ROG PG279Q 27" 2560 x 1440, but decision is not final. I kinda get googly eyes at ultra-wide-screens). I think on leaving it at one monitor + one that is connected to a secondary system + Synergy)

4. Peripherals

I'll need Win10. Mouse/keyboard/headset is still good, getting new stuff later. Thinking on a mechanical keyboard, but a silent one (red stuff I think, didn't research that much yet)

5. Why are you upgrading?

My old system is not that bad or outdated yet... I run a 970 with i4770K, but for one I want to upgrade to a bigger monitor with higher resolution and I don't like the fps on several last year games. I do not want to miss out on awesome stuff like hairworks in the witcher to stay at 60+ fps at 1080p.. so I need more. Also I need a modest secondary system for my GF. So she would get my old one.

So.. this is my planned rig: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/MT4bqk

CPU: Intel - Core i7-8700K 3.7GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU-Cooler: Noctua - NH-D15 82.5 CFM CPU Cooler

Motherboard: Asus - ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

Memory: G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory

GPU: Asus - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB STRIX GAMING Video Card

CASE: Fractal Design - Define XL R2 (Black Pearl) ATX Full Tower Case

Power Supply: be quiet! - DARK POWER PRO 11 850W

What do you think?

I am not sure about everything...

CPU-Cooler: Will it fit? I thought about the "beQuiet Dark Rock Pro Advanced" as an alternative.

Memory: Is it a good choice on the motherboard and CPU? I do not need the best of the best, but 3200 at CL14 seems like a good choice...

CASE: I have a fractal for my old system and love it ( I dont like windows and/or design from outer space), so I kinda want something similar, but I am not up to speed with modern cases... also: Will I have issues with space at some point of this rig?

Power Supply: Since I want the system to be somewhat quiet I kinda chose this, but I didn't actually do lots of research on power supplies yet. I chose 850W because I want to have the option to go for SLI at a later point. Though I think maybe then I should even go to the 1000W model?

Thanks for any input! :)
