What should I upgrade next?

My birthday is coming up, and I plan on upgrading one or two of my pc parts. Just wondering, what would be the best to upgrade? and if so, which one should I upgrade to?

 

My specs are:

i5 4690k

Nvidia Geforce GTX 970

MSI H81M-P33

16gb ddr3 ram

Looking at this list of 4. You can either upgrade 1 or upgrade 3.

1 = GPU

3 = The other 3 need to be upgraded if you swap out CPU. Since there's no reason to swap out RAM/MB.

your gpu and maybe cpu

Upgrade gpu first. The cpus hold up suprisingly well and you would have to get a new mb, ram as well as a cpu if you go that rout.

Personally I'd upgrade the cpu/mobo/ram before the gpu since it's a 970. It's still a very capable card so if you don't have the money to upgrade on your b/d then just save a bit.
