USB audio

Salutations,

The audio port on my phone (Galaxy S6) doesn't work and I didn't find any decent store nearby that could fix it at a reasonable price, i bought an adapter (like the one for iphones) but apparently it wouldn't work on phones that already have an existing audio port. Does anyone know if there's any app that can make it work?

USB is digital, so you need some sort of digital-analog converter (DAC) to connect headphones. You can't just wire headphones to a USB connector.

 

There are some phones that can send analog audio through the USB connector, but there isn't much of a common standard for it (there is technically one for USB-C but it hasn't caught on), and it's very rare.

you could try something like this. its basicly a wireless headphone jack that you connect to your phone with bluethooth.

not the best option but its something.
