Workspace reccomendations

Good evening all!

This is my first post here in the LTT floatplane community so I thought I'd share what I have built and would like suggestions/ recommendations on what I should improve upon.

I have built this workbench from Family Handyman with some minor modifications so far, I want to truly make it my own and be more conducive to PC building and general repairs.

Here is the original link from where I got the plans from: https://www.familyhandyman.com/workshop/workbench/how-to-build-a-workbench-super-simple-50-bench/amp/
It took my dad and I about a week to build simply due to time constraints with my work/college schedule and his work schedule.

So here we are cutting all the boards into the correct lengths per the guide. The small pieces that are stained in the lower left was my first failed attempt at a workbench.

We have got the main base done, getting ready to work on the top portion of the bench after we move it into position in our shed. Shed is heated and cooled btw.

Got the bench in and the top installed, grabbed a small rolling caddie that was not in use to store a lot of my pc misc. parts.

Here I got pegboard installed, (got it free from work which is why there is that seam) Using an old TV as a monitor for the time while I was saving for a better monitor in my gaming space in my room. Installed a light currently is not on a switch as electrical is not my forte really, still need to work on that.

Here I got a monitor arm installed and moved my previous secondary monitor out here as I upgraded in my room to a better primary. Also added another light wired in a series thanks to the simple design of these lights from Lowe's Home Improvement.

I also have a side bench which I got last year also from Lowe's

If you would like to see what's in my tool boxes let me know and I'd be happy to post them, if you guys would like to see them.

Got this shelf cleaned off for my usage this week, few random laptops that are dead and I could probably just trash but you know #techhoarder. Mini-fridge was my brother's currently it is not full due to the element freezing over so it's thawing out at this moment. I actually don't have any before shots but trust me it looks a lot better.

I also forgot to mention I have a nice sound system out here so I don't get bored without music when working. Yes, I do have a mic setup as when I do full builds I will stream them. Occastionally I will do a game but been busy.

So, my questions being what things would you guys recommend for me to do.

Things currently on my todo list:

Wire switch up to light

Rework cable management from the back of the pc

Things I have thought about doing;

Adding an outlet bar to the back of the bench for easier use

Want to upgrade this the PC out here but money is tightish atm.

I'd rather do everything myself as I want to learn.
Thanks for taking the time to read and or give suggestions!
