Lately I've been getting various issues on my laptop with the only relation between these is that they are all audio related. I would fix it by updating my audio driver or selecting another compatible driver; but just like flattening a lump in a rug, another lump would come up and it would be an endless cycle of repeating the same problem & solution. Let me this them:

1: Anything plugged into the headphone jack won't be recognized and sound will continue playing through speakers

2: Headphone Jack works but all sound has completely lost bass

3: Everything works except that now the microphone on my headset won't be recognized (which is the "lump in the carpet" i'm willing to live with)

4: Turning my laptop back on from sleep mode totally glitches the screen and I have to force a shutdown to fix it (HOW HE ACTUAL HEK DOES THIS HAPPEN NOW!?)

The laptop is a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 7567 (or my 3d waifu for short) and is fairly new. Haven't installed any new updates but I did recently install an m.2 ssd but I didn't do anything with it yet besides save a couple games. My biggest suspicion is this bloatware that came with it that I have yet to delete because I sorta like it's features; Waves Maxx Audio. A google search doesn't seem the help .-.

I had this problem bofore with my 7567 i7 + 1050ti. But it disappeared when I downgraded my Windows 10 to 1607 build (Anniversary Update), even with Maxx Wave Audio installed (it was installed by Windows Updater) I can't detect this problem anymore. If this still doesn't help - try to google for custom Dell XPS/Inspiron audio driver, there was a thread at some notebook forum and at reddit with modified drivers for XPS and peoples confirm that it does work with Inspiron 7567 too because it have same audio chip.

Downgrade solved so much windows 10 bugs with performance and other glitches...
