Please help me!

Okay, I have an old gaming laptop that’s giving me a hard time. It powers on but I’m not getting any signal on the screen, I connect the laptop to a monitor and I still don’t get a signal BUT when I start the laptop and go to the bios the screen magically works on the monitor but still nothing on the laptop screen. Once I leave bios the screen goes back to blank. I’m so confused and can use some help, I just wanna game already!

sounds more like a windows booting problem if it's able to go into bios. try re-seating the RAMS. or try to get into safe mode. or you could boot a live linux from a thubmdrive or something or a windows installation cd.
