Enhanced city, town and villages mod is a must

Wyrmstooth , moon path to elyswer, sea of ghost are good quest mods

Lotr weapons If you like them

And it's not hard to mod , go to steam community workshop, go to skyrim and look for mods and subscribe. Once you subscribe, launch the game but do not press play, I say again do not press play , wait for the launcher to download the mods and it will tell you when it's done and go you data files and check everything and then press play

modding skyrim makes it so much more usable fun and just better in every single little way. go to nexusmods.com and do all the modding there. make sure u get things like sky ui and read about the rquirements for it. after that its mostly download and click to install except when you bring ENB and texture modding sometimes.
do not use workshop mods because its probably on nexusmods and installing/uninstalling and managing is just so much better

is their any chance of getting viruses from nexus

No. I've downloaded from nexus thousands of times and I've never had any problems or viruses. They're having technical difficulties at the moments though so you'll have to manually download and add mods to the manager. It's easy though so not to fret.
