Specs:

Cpu: I7-3770 3.40 Ghz

Motherboard: foxconn h77m

Gpu: Gtx 750 ti ( GTX750TI-OC-2GD5 )

SSD: S600 Solid State Drive 120gb

Hard drive: WDC WD10EURX-83UY4Y0 (New)

Psu: 500w

Ram: 4x4gb 16gb all different models running at 1066 Mhz

Ok, so I'm having this issue where my PC freezes randomly and it's a real pain in the back site.

I have upgraded my PC from athlon 860k to i7-3770 and it's still freezing (but not as often).

I used to change my graphics card driver to a very old version and it used to work but would still freeze but not as often with the newest drivers.

So i have a feeling that there is something wrong with my graphics card or my ram.

I'm also fighting this freezing issue for about 2 years and can't find a fix. I hope someone can help me out.

Did you reinstall windows?

If you still have issues after an OS reinstall I think this may be an issue

"Ram: 4x4gb 16gb all different models running at 1066 Mhz"

Try running just one stick of RAM to see if you have the same freezing issues, just don't do anything RAM intensive.

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Yes, I have reinstalled windows from win 7 to win 10.

and i changed only my cpu with the motherboard.

Ya try using like 1 stick of RAM to see if that fixes it, if not what brand is the 500W PSU? is it just like a cheap Chinese PSU or OEM PSU? That might be it, but it's still hard to pin down.

I'll test all my ram sticks tomorrow because i got no time today to test all 4 of them.

And the psu is a cheap one, not sure if its Chinese tho.

Don't need to test all 4, just take 3 of them out and see what happens. But ya if it's a cheap and now older PSU that might be it.

Is there any way i could test my psu?

That would require a 2nd new PSU, or hooking it up to a similar system.
